Hi everyone, I just picked up a 2012 edge sel. It has the 2.0L ecoboost engine, I'm hearing a weird noise coming from the engine bay. Under acceleration I hear it then it stops until I let off the gas until I come to a stop. It sounds like a card in bicycle rim, but more rapid. Almost like something is hitting the turbine. Also, I don't know if I should be able to hear the turbo on acceleration with this motor but I don't. Thanks in advance!

I saw that forum, I just can't justify spending almost $200 on a new one, I wanted to see if there's any way I can vent the stock one to atmosphere.

I'm not looking for performance, just the sound.

Hi guys, I'm new here. And somewhat new to the ecoboost. I've seen mods such as upgrading the bov to get the sound, however I've also seen people venting the stock bov to atmosphere, my question is how? Any insight on doing it and any harm if any would be great, thank you!
