just go to belle tire/discount tire... buy two sets of wheels locks, prob cost you 20 bucks. throw them both on and there won't be a problem next time. you can still break a set... if i was livin in brooklyn, i'd have 2 sets to make sure that shit doesn't happen again.

lamin-x is removable. it can be taken off fairly quickly, but is garanteed for 5 years. i can install, or else you can do it yourself.

how intense is the install? and this eliminates high beams correct?

please post some pictures, that is what the edge needs, no doubt. do you have to cut anything? or can u just swap it out for the factory?

I'm not talking about the whole mirror. I'm talking about the piece that snaps onto the front side of the mirror that is body colored on Edges and chrome on MKXs.

let me know if that works, cause i think chrome mirrors on the edge is needed.

How much did it cost you to get the front 2 windows tinted? What is the % to match the back 2 factory windows?

i got a guy around here (MI) that charged me $55, lifetime warranty. $40, no warranty. He's done 2 of my cars and a bunch of my buddies. but factory = 20% and they will match it at the shop.

tint is must for me, had it tinted the beginning of the second day i had it. i'm gonna get it re-done to 20% instead of 35%.. i want it darker :D

Many different wheels will fit the Edge, but they will not ride properly.

What if any difference would the 20's or 22's have on mpg's? I think they both look sweet, especially that tricked out one with 22's

 

And how does it handle with those size wheels (both local and highway)

you figure if you throw on 22's, you can afford a few less mpg, which wouldn't be THAT much. my guess is the handling is gonna be a lot more tight (have bigger low pro wheels on my grand am). improved the handling in my case.

Dan, i put 305/40/-22 on my sel awd and had no problems...i added foose 22" wheels also. i also installed h&r lowering springs to bring it down even more. I am going to try and upload a picture of an edge with the wheels and a 3d carbon body kit that i have ordered and should arrive next week.

DAMN that is dope. post up some pictures when you get all of that on, cause that is the sickest edge i've seen yet. even tho its a PS correct?

Alright i've been browsing lookin at things that will look good and aren't too hard to take off at the end of the lease. I found stickercity.com and you can buy a roll of a thicker tint made for outside of the car.. and i came up with some ideas on photoshop that i think im gonna do. What do you guys think?

Wassup everyone. I'm apart of a few forums so i decided to add myself to the edge forum. I have the black SEL plus, and my dad has an orange SEL plus. I already got the windows tinted on the front 35%... i might also throw some rims on, but since it is a lease through ford cause my dad works for the company, nothing to major. I may just do 18s to replace the stocks. We'll see. I figured i'd introduce!

do you get flashed from other drivers for it being to bright?

how much did it all cost you with the relay kit? I may be lookin to do an upgrade for sure.

Also, why get a relay kit? i'm just wondering i don't know anything about HID kits. Thanks for the help. Looks great makes me want to buy!!
