  1. Havent driven it much yet. Bought it for the wife who thought she wanted a Toyota Rav4.

It took some time to convince her that the Edge has more going than the Rav4.

No nav or sat. radio, but is does have Sync. No need to pay for music when

all you need to do is load a USB drive with your favorites.

The Ford Nav is way too expensive and I'm glad I didnt have to pay for it.

Garmin makes some fine products that cost much less.

So far, Its great. Have been reading about alot of problems others have had and hope

I won't be at the stealership as often as them.

The only issue that I have had with my Edge is the headlights. I'm not sure why but they started getting these hairline cracks on the inside of them. It is still under full warranty, so I had them replaced. Other then that... it's been a great car

I'm curious to know what other problems have you heard about?

Well I know that she will love it... I had the car I would say about a week and got numerous compliments on it. Plus everyone wanted to know if I liked it and what I paid for it.. and so one. So a lot of people are interested in them!! I'm surprised they haven't sold more than what they have. Anyway... hope you and your wife enjoy!!!

  2. $22,500 was my total. $29,995 sticker price. It is used but only had 15,000 miles on it when I drove it off the lot. Its a 2007 SEL-Plus model with

    -Black exterior

    -Charcoal leather interior

    -Rear DVD entertainment

    -Roof racks

    -Towing package

    -Auto sensory headlights

-and all the other awesome things that the Edge has!!

I would have really liked to shop around and found one with Nav, Vista sunroof, and Sirus that was Black with Charcoal leather interior!! :violin: If anyone knows someone selling one in the Oklahoma area, let me know cause i can not find one anywhere! Thx!!

  3. I do love it!!! I have waited to get one since before they came out!! I'm an excited... yay!! I catch myself looking at it in the drive way :shades:

It is Black with Black interior. I like the Black car with Black on the inside. My last car was Black with Black on the inside as well. Anyways... it has the rear entertainment center (which I'll never use) but it came with the car. Other than that it pretty much like all the other Edge's out there. I do love the ability to lock the doors and not have to use a key to re-enter the car. I will get all the options with my next Edge. I really like the idea of a Vista sunroof, navigation, and Microsoft Sync!!! But I'm a college student and I only work part time, so I can't afford a lot at the moment. I'm really just lucky to have a new car. HOWEVER... when I get out of school, the first thing I am going to purchase is a fully loaded Ford Edge, Yeah!! :hyper:

Well thanks for all the support guys.. I hope you enjoy your Edge's. I will enjoy mine. YAY!!

    Hello and welcome!

I'm sure you will really enjoy your first Ford ...

What colour and options do you have? please post pics!

  4. I haven't looked at my tail lights... however my head lights have already been replaced twice because they are cracking on the inside!! Now my head lights aren't that gorgeous bright lights like they were when I first got the car....!?!

Last week I installed a Hidden Hitch and T-One wiring harness on my 2007 SE. The job was pretty simple, just time consuming, as others have noted. It took a little longer for me though, since my hitch was bent from shipping and the horrible packaging it was sent in...but I digress.

My concern came when I went to install the T-One harness. I removed the tail lights and found that the main light bulbs on both sides had gotten so hot that they were blackened and even a little melted. Has anyone seen anything like this?

The only other problem that I have had is the transmission shifting hard at low speed, otherwise I have 16K on it and rolling!

  5. Hello,

I just bought my first Edge... and Ford, and I LOVE it!!! I just wish I would have gotten more options. My next one will be "fully" loaded though!! So I just wanted to say hi. I'm sure I will have tons of questions for everyone being that I have never owned a Ford before. Well be "egd-e" and come say hi!!
