No nothing is touching it, no cords or anything. My brother-in-law is going to take off the panel and give it a cleaning to see if that'll stop it.

It does make the beep sound as iff someone is touching it and the fan indicator does show. I guess well give it a good cleaning and go from there. Thanks for your response.

Hi. In the last week the A/C on my 2012 Ford Edge Limited has been acting strange. I have the Sync system and while driving down the road, my A/C with increase the fan speed with no one touching the buttons! And its not in AUTO mode to regulate the temp. So since its cooling down a bit, the A/C was off and again out of the blue with no one touching any buttons, the A/C popped on and increased the fan speed. I swear its possessed. Can there be a stuck mechanism behind the panel? Has anyone else had this weird problem and how was it fixed? Thanks for any info!
