Yea that looks fine. If mine ever gets too beat up I'm just gona wrap it instead. While on the subject of Ford emblems, your wheels probably have blue FORD center hub caps right? I replaced mine with black ones that I got off eBay for like $15 for a set of 4. If you are interested I can forward you the link. There's all kinds of them available, you just have to make sure you get the right size ( 2.125" or 54mm is the diameter that fits).
Yes, please forward me the link. Ive been thinking about what to do with them. Wrap them maybe.

I watched him just lay a piece of the 3M gloss black over the emblems and that was it. Obviously, he cut out the oval shape. On my emblems its raised lettering so when he smoothed out the vinyl you can still see the shadow of the Ford lettering. I can take a closer pic if you would like?for sure, just let me know...what exactly did you do to your front Ford emblem?
Roots57- I forgot to ask you if you Sport wheels are wrapped or is that a powder coated? Im thinking mine would look better with the gloss black instead of hyper grey.

I'll do the wrapping for free if it's cheaper for you to just ship them to me and then back, I really don't mind, I enjoy doing it. The vinyl is only like $12 for a piece big enough for both. I did mine in gloss black and they still look just as good 10 months later. Get a couple of quotes and see how much they'd charge you, but I bet it's at least a $100 per side. Normally I think chrome exhaust tips look good, but not when it's the only chrome on the car, I hated it on mine and it's the first thing I wrapped.
Cool! I’ll see what my place will do it for. Yeah, being the only two parts on the Sport that’s chrome just doesn’t seem to fit.

They aren't too bad, especially if you can lift up the rear end to make it easier to work. There's just 4 screws on each side. Wrapping them was the hardest part.
I’m going to try and take them off and get them wrapped. I think it’ll look better.

You had the side mirrors done too?
Yep, the side mirrors got done as well.

So far I've done my exhaust bezels.
Were the bezels difficult to take off?

Looks like a completely different car. Very unique. Did you do it yourself?
I wish I could do it myself but no I took it to a company who does wraps and let them do it.

These are the bulbs, made by Lasfit.

Now that I look at the picture, its possible the Hi beam portion of the LED is lit along with the DRL. I can't tell because the bulb has to be in the housing in order to be lit and I'll probably go blind trying to stare into the reflector portion of the housing when its on.
Yeah, ill bet those are really bright. In the housing with the projector lens those would be great but probably not the best fit for the DRL. I changed mine out http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23323-drl-change/?view=findpost&p=176667

Which bulb did you use to replace the stock H15?

Some other company needs to build some colored LED puddles besides RECON so that they are forced to sell them at a more reasonable price, $80 is out of control. They try to make it seem worth it by placing them in a fancy box. Has anyone suggested this to daytime brights?
Dan sent back a response of:
We can make them in blue. Just order the standard color TRAX and then call us at (913) 304-0720 and tell us you want them in blue.
Daytime Bright sells the TRAX puddle lights for $51. Unfortunately I didnt know they would make them in blue before I purchased the Recons.

how are your high-beams with these bulbs? do you notice more light? i live in a pretty rural area and we have so many dear, raccoons, and even the odd bear, crossing the road. more light is always better for safety.
If you have HID headlights like I do the DRLs arent used as the high beams. An actuating door opens the projector beams all the way open and thats the high beam. The stock halogen bulbs may use the DRL bulb as the high beam bulb.

I sent Dan, the owner of Daytime, a message asking if he has any plans for colored puddle lights. Ive yet to hear back from him.

I bought some from DayTime BrightLites,LLC the owner is Dan Smith the Lights and Dan both are awesome great service and the lights came and install super easy
I used everyone of Dan’s products on my 13 Edge Limited and loved them. Just swapped my Trax lights from Dan for my blue Recons. Nothing against Dan’s lights I really wanted the blue lights.

They still seem to be working just like new from what I can tell. I'm surely glad too, they were insanely expensive for LED's. Unfortunately they are the only company that make color LED puddle lights for the F150 (same ones used in the Edge). If you do get them, hopefully you will have the same luck I have had so far. If these ones do go out on me, I will probably try building my own using the old fixtures, because I'm not spending $80 on another set of these.
Thanks! I appreciate it! I think those really good.

roots57. Have you had any issues with those puddle lights as of yet? I like those and want to get them. Have they dimmed or has the color faded?
