I just bought a used 2015 Ford Edge SEL Eco Boost for my wife and the plan was to use it for towing as well. This Ford Edge did not come with a towing hitch but we were told it has towing capability and we would just need to have it installed. There is no hurry to tow right now, but we would like to when nicer weather comes around here in Michigan. We are now at the investigative stage of getting a towing package installed.

However, my wife really likes the kick feature underneath the back bumper and the gate pops open!

My question for the community - is there a way to install a hitch without compromising the kick-feature? Could we have both?

What? There is no fuse? Woah, I need to get spun up on these newer cars. I get the biggest rock award for living under it!

Hmmm... so it is not simply just replacing a fuse eh?

Replacing all 3 taillights seems expensive? Are we just talking bulbs or the whole unit?

Also is it expensive to reprogram the BCM? How I would I do so?

I recently purchased a used 2015 Ford Edge SEL EcoBoost.

Please see the attached pictures. The rear tail light "bar" does NOT work. It does not work whether I am hitting the brakes or not. Please advise.
