You are correct, sir and I apologize, it is indeed 4100 lbs. However, the Edge felt considerably more sluggish than the Escape during the test drive. Nevertheless, for the reasons I've already mentioned in my previous post, I've decided to purchase the Edge.

Well, the Escape has a curb weight of about 1,700Kg, while the Edge is 4,100Kg. Same engine (2.0AWD Eco-boost) on both. Of course the Escape feels a lot more lively and nimble, but the Edge has a more spacious/luxurious interior. And yes, we're keeping both.

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum...

Just ordered my Titanium and already browsing the user manual and on-line reviews. I'm told it should arrive sometimes in January. My wife has been driving a 2017 Escape and we're very happy with it so far.

So I guess we've officially become a part of the Ford family!
