Problem solved !! I read an article suggesting to try disconnecting the car battery for an hour to reset the module and it worked. Fobs working again.

Hi All, 2011 Base model. All key fobs for door lock/unlock stopped working. I was unable to reprogram them (I am familiar with the procedure and have done it several times on Mustang and Grand Marquis). Fob batteries new, car battery two years old and on a battery tender. Wife took car to Batteries plus and they were able to reprogram one fob and sold her a new keyless fob. Now, a month later, no fobs work. I suspect it is the module. I see these are commonly sold used on eBay for around $40 and are supposedly located behind the passenger side kick panel. Does anyone have any experience in this module replacement? Does it need any special programming or can I just plug it in and reprogram the fobs? Thanks in advance for any advice. -Mike

Hi All, First time post for me. We own a pair of Edges. Our daughter has had a 2010 SEL for almost three years (used) and my wife just picked up a used 2011 SE. Jealousy reared its ugly head when my wife noticed her side view mirrors are smaller than the ones on our daughter's SEL. I poked around on line and I think the smaller mirrors are OEM P-411 and the larger ones are OEM G-411. (Non-heated, non-painted). Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the entire smaller mirror housing with the larger one? -much appreciated, -Mike
