Hi All,

I still have no blower and wondering if it is the hvac module. Any thoughts.

The Edge is a 2011 with 120k miles on it.  The Battery is 6 months old.  I have re seated all battery terminals and greased them, reseated the body ground on the drivers side A pillar.  I have went through the Q pinpoint test.  The FCIM was fine yesterday.  Started this morning out, drove to work 10 minutes and left the car running.  Went inside grab stuff for an errand and the it was back to normal still no blower.  I will go to the fuse panel and remove all fuses and test tonight.

Thanks,  I have replaced my blower motor,  blower resistor and the FCIM and still the blower motor will not work.  Sometimes the whole FCIM panel will go dead and the driverside air bag light will come on.  Any Ideas of something to check in the system?

Hi,

My 2011 Edge has the basic single zone HVAC system and Radio.  I don't have sync.  If I replace the FCIM, I think that is what they call it on my car, will it need to be reprogrammed?

I'm at wits ends.  I can not figure out why my bower motor will not run.  I have gone through pinpoint test Q.  At every branch I have replaced the part.  So far blower motor, blower resistor. and the control panel on the dash.  Went through all the electrical grounds. I attached a multi meter to the blower motor plug when I turn the blower it goes to 12vdc for less than a second and drops out to 1 volt.  I hold down the Power and Defroster buttons and start the self test and get 00 88 88 on the display.  Could It be the Body Contol Module?  Any Ideas?
