Try to turn the setting for the seats to off then on again. Just a thought as electronics sometimes act up.

I did change all the remote start settings and then put them back this morning when I checked the settings.

I tried it again this afternoon with remote start and the seat heater did come on this time. After a quick trip to the store the seat heater and steering wheel heat came on automatically with a normal push button start.

I shall check again tomorrow morning if it is still working correctly. Thanks for the help.

  2. Thanks for the info, I did look through the other thread last night and read that the seat indicators may not light up even though the seat heat or ventilation is working until you hit the start button.

This is my wife's car that I don't drive very often so I just did a test to see if she just wasn't noticing the seat heaters working since this time of year we all wear thick clothes.

I remote started it at 8am this morning and let it run about 11 minutes. I then went out and checked to see what was working, the outside temp was reading a balmy 20°f, back window and mirrors were free from frost, the inside temp was not terrible warm but considerable warmer then the outside, steering wheel was warm but driver's seat was still ice cold. When I hit the start button to initialize the rest of the car the screen showed the steering wheel heat on, but not the seat heater.

I then went back into the settings in the left hand dash screen and double checked the remote start settings. System was checked, seat and steering wheel was set to auto, and climate control was also set to auto.

So it seems everything is working correctly except the seat heaters, any ideas as to why?
