Way to go. I had my horn changed within 2 months of buying my Edge last year.

There are a few after market liftgate kits that are available for my 2019 Edge SEL. Has anyone purchased one and how well does it operate? Which one was purchased ? Can anyone recommend an installer in NJ that has experience with jnstall?

I'm  a new 2019 Edge Sel owner and hated the horn. Went to.my local dealer and paid apx $200 for them to replace the horn. Unfortunately the horn they put in was no different in sound. I re read the tread and saw that the recommended dual horn was actually from the 2018 model. They re ordered the horn and it sounds great. Of course no extra cost. So if others want the desired result order the part number listed on the tread, not the current year part.

Thanks for the info. My local Ford dealer wants no part of addressing this. I spoke to Ford Parts and they apparently do not have an assembled kit with all.parts and instructions and referred me to my dealership. The salvage option seems possible. 

I'm  s new Edge owner love my vehicle.  However am not happy with the manual liftgate trunk and frankly thought an electronic trunk was standard.  I've seen after market  kits selling for apx $500, but I'm not sure I want to tackle the install. Also I'd rather deal with original Ford parts and service. Does anyone know if a dealer can obtain the parts and convert the truck to auto ' to include foot activated.? Apx cost? Does a typical Ford dealer service this type of conversion?
