So I've searched this forum and others for owners having the same issue as myself, and while I found one or two similar cases, there was no clear resolution. The issue I'm having is with the power liftgate on my 2010 Ford Edge SEL. It was working fine up until about a week ago. At the moment, when I press the liftgate button in the cabin or the fob, I will hear the liftgate unlock then lock after about 2-3 seconds. I do not hear the familiar chimes at all. Power liftgate is enabled in the vehicle settings. I have attempted the liftgate reset several times. The liftgate has no issue opening or closing manually and no issue remaining fully open. Does this sound like a liftgate motor/actuator issue? If so, wouldn't the chimes still be going off? Just curious if anyone else has any experience with this issue and what they did to resolve it.
