Hi all, I have a 2013 Lincoln MKX. I have had it for about six months and love it. Shortly after getting it I switched out the sync unit with one which would accept Apple CarPlay. Everything worked fine for months. A few weeks ago the front speakers stopped working intermittently. This means I can’t hear clicks from things like the temp setting. Can also not hear my phone when connected or any other messages coming through the front speaker. It has the THX system. I switched back the old sync system I removed and it does the same thing so I don’t think it is the new unit. Music sounds funky unless I change setting from surround to stereo. Then it sounds ok but all the sound is in the back. If I move the fader switch up to the front, there is no sound. Any ideas what might be wrong. No loose connections that I can locate. I was thinking the amplifier might be the problem but I don’t know.
