I knew that would get someone's attention. So If you pull out the sill and look at he bottom black cable. You'll notice that its a pretty simple set up. That cable is a fiber optic bundle with a LED on the end. So just pull the white LED out and install the color of your choice. I would recommend a RBG LED then you can make it pretty much any color you would like and you can match the colors of the ambient lighting system. I'm going to match mine to the dashboard colors when I get a chance.

I found a set and started to install them in my 2011 Edge and I can not find where to plug the fiber optic in. I see no fiber optic leading to an LED anywhere. I see some others in this thread talking about taping into some power wires but my plates have no electrical wires attached to them. They a were bought as NOS. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
