  1. Brand new OEM Ford 20" black painted with brushed aluminum accent wheel. This wheel was standard on the 2013-2014 Ford Edge Sel Appearance Package. It was also available on the 2013 Ford Flex. The wheel is brand new in-box. Wheel does not include valve stem, tire pressure monitor or center cap. Any reasonable offer accepted. Let me know if you have any questions.

  2. My new MKX is silver with black, loe it looks sharp. My wife has a '09 MKS, cinnamon in color, looks awesome, but a real pain to keep clean. Also, dark colors show even dust a lot faster then lighter colors. If it doesn't bother you that dark gets dusty/firty quick, cinnamon looks great,

but if you are OCD like me go light. On the average, I was the wifes car at leat once a week, sometimes more, but it does look sharp !

Any pictures? Did you go for the metal or wood trim on the interior?

  3. Hi everyone,

I am a frequent viewer of this forum but this is my first post in awhile. I'm adding to my Lincoln family. I have a 2010 AWD MKX with 50k that has been flawless. My wife needs a new vehicle and she decided she wants a MKX as well. I am having a hard time deciding what color combo to get. White is out since we have one already. I am thinking earth metallic or mineral...maybe cinnamon. Would those of you with an 11' and up MKX mind posting pictures of your vehicles? What interior color does everyone like?

    Thank you!

  4. Hi ken. :D The power steering and PTU should have no effect on each other. Concerning the "under-boosted" feel: First thing to check would be the power steering fluid level. Have you checked it? Do there seem to be any leaks or drips under the vehicle when it has been parked overnight? If you look under the hood at the power steering pump, do there seem to be any drips, runs or telltale signs of a leak from the pump itself or the hoses leading to/from it?

I guess one way or another, your best bet would be to make a service appointment, since whether there is a visible leak or not, you have a legitimate concern that should be addressed. And you are well within the 4 year/50,000 mile Bumper to Bumper Warranty period, so any necessary repairs would be covered.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Let us know how you make out.

    Good luck. :beerchug: .

Thanks for the advice. I'll check under the hood tomorrow. You are right...it might be as simple as a slightly low fluid issue. The vehicle has been flawless so far and I imagine this is a minor issue.

  5. Hi Everyone,

I have a 2010 MKX that I put some serious mileage on every week. I have only had it for six months and I just hit 21,000.

I notice when I am backing out of a parking space that the steering feels "under-boosted" - It is almost like it loses power for a second. Has anyone else experience this?

I also hear a whine a low speeds when accelerating. Could it be the PTU? I believe its all related.

    Thank you.

  6. Just got a 2010 MKX! I love it so far! I put on some serious mileage every year and I am really enjoying the comfort features of this vehicle. Its only three months old and I already have 8500 miles on it!. Its tri-coat white with the ultimate and elite packages. I hope to gain lots of insight from the rest of you on this board!

Just hit 10,000 miles today! She has been rock solid so far. I am looking forward to many more miles.

  8. Well, Add me to the list. I've had my 2008 since June 8000 miles and last week I noticed the odor of oil burning so I took it in. The service manager said he knew exactly what it was and would be fixed in 2 hours. I picked it up the next day and was told they replaced a seal and all is good. Yesterday when I left for work I noticed a puddle of pink fluid. Now it is back in the shop. Apparently they put the old version seal in by accident so now they are replacing it with the so called new and improved seal with a yellow deflector. He swears this will fix it. I hope...

Does this problem effect all 2008 AWD edges? I just picked up an 08' limited last night....Do you think the late build 08's have updated ptu seals?

    Thanks
