I have a 2008 edge with the electric rear lift gate. When I drive it in the winter or summer on dusty roads the lift gate fails to latch on closing. It will close manually and upon resetting it on the dash. it seems to work ok. It is just a bit of a pain as you never know whe it will work or not. Has anyone had any success with repair or is ther a sensor that can be cleaned to fix the problem??? Thanks
