I got my 2011 edge sport in nov. and so far I put in hid head lights and set up the leds in the front bottom to act light daytime running lights so they come on all the time the hid lights are really good ,love the edge sport,I had bought a 2010 srx cadillac performance last feb and couldn't wait to get rid of it.The ride was horrible and it was at the dealer for 6 weeks total at various times for different things.It was the worst car I had ever bought.The edge rides like a dream compared to the srx.

I got my 2011 sport about 2 months ago and I have put in HID lights and what a difference and I also hooked up the two leds on the bottom to come on every time I start the car so they stay on all the time good luck with your new sport

to get the iphone 4 bt miusic to work i touched where it said source until the music came on and blue tooth label came up on the upper right side of the screen

Congrats on your purchase! I have an iphone4 and have had no issues at all. Definitely do the update and see if that works. Good luck.

I have an iphone 4 but cant seem to get the photos from my contacts to show up on the screen when a call comes in ,also i cant seem to use any of the photos as wallpaper on the screen ,I was wondering if you have the same issues.

I ordered my edge sport fully loaded on oct 14th and it came in on nov.14th I picked it up on nov15th so far everything is working perfect

I was going to get the wheel insurance but found out I am covered from my insurance co.which is geico I carry a 100.00 deductable which was not much more than 500.00 deductable I live in northern N.J.

We weren't even offered the tire and wheel protection. How much does that run? I might have had to sign up for that before i drove it off the lot. That would probably have been well worth it.

I owned a 2010 srx I bought in feb I thought it was one of the worst and uncomfortable rideing vehicles I have owned, it was at the dealers for a number of annoying things for a total of 10 weeks at different times I finely decided to order a 2011 ford edge sport on oct.14th and it arrived 4 weeks later,the new edge is sooo much nicer and better riding than the srx I am thrilled with it.I have since put in hid headlights for a cost of $300.00 and also made the led strip in the front become daytime driving lights they come on every time I start the car it really looks cool.

I picked up my 2011 edge sport yesterday and have driven 250 miles so far and I love it it is one of the nicer riding and handling cars I have owned.I am very pleased with this purchase,love the new my sync everything works perfect.

Ordered new sport edge on Oct 14th it came in on friday and picking it up on sat.nov.20th it is silver with all the options. My previous car was a 2010 cadillac srx and it was the worst riding car I have owned.I had nothing but trouble with it.I am glad I am getting rid of it tomorrow.

well the price i got for edge sport was $40.800.00 plus $1500.00 rebate and the ford dealer is giving me $36000.00 for the srx on a trade I paid $41000.00 for the srx when I bought it also the dealer is putting in the visor with the homelink at no charge so its not too bad ,I got the srx in feb.and used until now ,the edge should be in in 3 to 4 weeks.I got the nav,sunroof,blind spot mirrors,driver ent package,and some other things I got all the options that are available.

I read so many lousy things about the SRX, I did not even drive one. Will they take it back or do you have to trade it and take a hit?

I figured I'd introduce myself here!

 

My husband and I just ordered our 2011 Edge Limited on October 19th. We're ecstatic and cannot wait for it to come in! I spoke with the sales person last week and he said to expect delivery the second week of November. That seems really quick!! I don't know if it makes a difference that we bought it at a dealership in Toronto, so close to the factory?

 

We are currently driving an '07 Civic, the lease is up in July 2011 but we are about 40,000 km's over the allotted mileage (oops!!) so we wanted to get rid of it early. We've been wanting an SUV for years now and figured now is the time!

 

So we went to the Ford dealership and looked at the Edge and fell in love. We got all the figures, etc. but wanted to make sure it was the best choice for us. My husband said GMC had some good deals on right now so we went to the dealership and sat in some of their cars. NO CONTEST!!

 

Out of nowhere this man pulls up, rolls down his window and goes "Yea... these are nice but I'd take a Ford Edge over this any day of the week!". We just looked at each other and knew hahaha it was the sign we needed! He also gave us a GREAT tip to go to the dealership at Yonge and Steeles in Richmond. We were really happy with the service we got, and ordered it on the spot!

 

Now it's the waiting game! I'm so impatient! haha

I ordered a White Platinum tri-coat Edge Sport and have been looking for pictures of what this combination looks like. I've searched the internet top and bottom with no results. The only picture available is on the Ford site where you Build and Price.

 

Does anyone have pictures of this to share? I am hoping the white/black color combo looks as striking in person as it does in the factory Ford picture.

I was going to order white edge sport until I saw one at a dealer I don't think it looks as good in person as it did at ford website I have owned white cars for many years but the edge sport did not look good so I ordered a ingot silver which I saw at a dealer and I thought it looked a lot better than white.I now own a 2010 cadillac srx which I am getting rid of it the worst riding car I have owned in a long time the edge sport rides a lot better than the srx also its been back at the dealers for a total of 8 weeks at different times for a bunch of different things,I have owned 2 edges before and never had a problem

I have 2008 edge ltd with 2100 miles on it I have brought it into the dealer 3 times for the same problem,there is a creaking type noise sounding like it is coming from the dashboard area,the dealer said they have taken the lower part of the dash board apart and have done other things as well ,they also sprayed some kind of lubricant in between all the seams of the dash board which did not solve the problem but made the car smell horrible,I brought it in today for the 4th time and told them not to call me until it is fixed properly,

2008 Edge Limited at 2845 miles; 20" chrome wheels are showing brass finish through the chrome at the hub of ALL spokes on ALL wheels. Dealership reviewed. Waiting Ford rep. response. Anyone seeing the same? (Thanks in advance) Dealership detailer said that buffing would not resolve. NO solvents used to clean them so far. Their take on it is that the manufacturer is not applying enough chrome plate to cover this part of the spoke area and then properly buffing the finish. The face is excellent; spokes are the issue.

I have noticed the same exact thing on my wheels,however I am not that concerned because I leased the car for 2 years,but I will bring to the dealers attention.
