That goofy cubby area in the center console under the dash (in front of and over the power port on the passenger side), with no rear facing access. I don't see how it is useful for anything. Also the center console storage, glove box, door storage...are small. I tried putting the contents of my old 2017 Escape into the same compartments in the Edge, and they don't fit, at all. Only part bigger is the little tray in the console storage area, which was gum, chapstick, pen and pencil.

The only use that ive ever had for it was a place to set a phone (Or other item) that is charging from the power outlet on the side there.

  2. I have been following this thread since last week because I too have noticed the mystery "White Smoke" under heavy acceleration on my 18 Sport. Here in Wisconsin it has been bitterly cold the past week until today where we saw temps in the upper 30s. Today with the warmer temps, the smoke was gone. Will continue to monitor if it comes and goes as the temps fluctuate.

  3. Hey everyone, I am going to be that guy and ask what I’m sure every Edge newbie has asked before me. I am looking at picking up a Boomba BOV adaptor and I’m wondering if there can be any harmful repercussions for the fun sounds. From the little bit of research, I’ve done, I understand that basically all its doing is allowing the unused charge air to vent to atmosphere instead of being recirculated. Just curious what the forum had to say about it. Thanks for any responses.

  4. Hi Everyone, my name is Cory and I’m from Wisconsin. I just picked up a 2018 White Platinum Edge Sport yesterday. I’ve been considering one for awhile so when my Ford Focus was recently totaled, I took the opportunity to get into an Edge. My parents have a 2015 Edge SEL and while I enjoy driving it, my little over 24 hours with the Sport have completely changed my view of the Edge. The Sport trim is optioned so nice and the 2.7 EcoBoost is a powerhouse. The combination of styling and power is amazing. I look forward to gaining more knowledge about the platform from everyone here and learning as much as possible about taking good care of her and keeping it in tip top shape for years to come. Glad to be here!
