  1. Hi, I have a 2020 Edge Titanium. Everything has been working fine but of late. The auto unlock no longer works unless you are at the driver's door. We have the key on us, but it won't unlock any other door except the driver's door. Does anyone know if this is something I can fix, thanks
  2. The link I posted above works fine for my 2020 Edge. Also, the one pictured at the beginning of this thread is the correct one. I got a genuine Ford one for 100 bucks on Ebay. You need the one with the longer, flexible hose from the valve to the split. The stiff double bend hose will not work. also, I detached the yellow connection hose and just kept the old one. This saved me some time since getting the valve off was about a thirty minute pain.
  3. Yeah, mine is pushing 4 years and I wondered if that made a little difference.
  4. well finally the temp reached 70 degrees and it is like someone flipped a switch and the auto stop works fine. when it goes below about 70 degrees outside it won't work
  5. The guy from the link above to Ebay confirmed that will fit so I ordered it. It can be returned but I am pretty sure that will work. You can see the difference with the picture above, thanks for the help
  6. this link goes nowhere, sorry
  7. This is not the right one which is why all this is confusing. I bought this one and it would work but the hose from the valve to the split is way too short. if you search using this part on Ebay for instance you can find one that has the longer hose that I am pretty sure that works but even the Ford dealer mechanics I think can be confused. Here is a link to one I think works, https://www.ebay.com/itm/266747977737?epid=23066424568&itmmeta=01HZF2Q91NPR668D15HS82Y7EF&hash=item3e1b6b2009:g:idIAAOSwlWdmCwTO&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAAwIPgv%2F9Y77ImVkxz%2BKlcOC03XILTRhBEpk5Z6gqCU%2B6LKD6%2FJAHSPqP9y2O0HBNQSU%2BO6ihLJJRnME0Sr28rwKuy%2BmjWzWiE%2BTbN1UlVmdW7C0uxi8eTOLqqbfUE8M45trt102CG3%2FjSbYnlxoff8tJNTHbyh55BnibpkYg5oOIXeFJQ15sCh%2BVBtDy1CRqRVj%2FmxyJYo3JgQGyRWHcbmvJLudGVscU5ap%2FcuTKLHhdFcwdaoNtOLmKuf7qOZg9wjA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR46R3eL7Yw
  8. thanks, there is no picture and that part number sometimes comes up for the wrong part. How sure are you this is the right one? when I put my car model in I have to look up the part and can never find it at that point.
  9. Hi, I need a purge valve, I think it is also known as a fuel valve separator, for a 2020 edge 2.0 engine. I am having a very difficult time trying to find one online. It will have to include all the hoses. the dealer wants 330.00 for one which is robbery. any help? thanks
  10. thanks, I saw that but have only wiped it with my finger, but will do this more thorough one soon.
  11. Hi, I bought a 2020 Edge Titanium back in February. The dealer I bought it from is two hours away and so that is why I don't just take it to them to look at. My problem is that about every 2 or 3 weeks the check engine light comes on. I have a code reader and it is saying that there is a very small leak in my evap, I erase the code but it comes back like I said. I don't think it is my gas cap since it doesn't have a cap. Is the only way to find a leak to do a smoke test at the car shop? I don't want to spend money replacing parts that are okay. thanks for any help.
  12. I did not know that having the defroster on disables it, that would make sense, because it is always on during cold months just like air is on in warm months, I almost never have windows open. Maybe that is my problem. I will have to turn it off and see, thanks
  13. Thanks for the info. I think using the post on the shock tower is an example of by passing the negative post; you have to be on the other side of the BMS modual.
  14. thanks for the replies. There is a popular Ford mechanic on YouTube that was showing that when you charge your battery, you have to connect the negative terminal on the side of the BMS module that is on the other side from the battery post. Otherwise the computer doesn't see it as charging. I think it will eventually and even if you don't you are still actually charging the battery. But on cars like the escape and edge I think that is why they have a negative connection that has easy access. Anyway, I have done the high beam on off 5 times and push the brake pedal three times routine to reset the BMS. The next day the auto stop might work but won't last the entire day. I guess this is what happens when politicians tell car manufacturers how to make cars.
