What app do you use with the OBD2 adapter?
I use mobile app "Repairsol2" with this scan tool.
What are the codes that you think i should get in my case?

CEL= Check engine Light or your "Wrench" icon. I dug up a
video. I don't know if it helps. That is why the tranny questions.
I have 210K on my 08 Edge with no problems.
After the replacement, the check engine light is always on and the wrench light comes back on as soon as I start driving the car. However, before the replacement, the check engine light and the wrench light were not coming on unless I drive on the highway above 70 mph. Thanks for the video.

What color is the transmission fluid? When was it changed, if ever and mileage of the Edge too?
Does it shift right? Did the CEL ever go out after the parts replacement? Do you have rodent problem,
as those little critters love to eat automotive wiring?
The transmission fluid was fine. The color was red. It looked almost new. I replaced it anyway with a new transmission fluid. Mileage is 212k. Wiring looked also fine when I replaced the sensors. What is CEL?

So to be clear, you had the same code before and after sensor replacement.
What are you using to read the codes?

Read the stored error codes or get them read.
I am getting the same code I was getting before the sensors replacement. I get code P0715.

I have 2008 ford edge. I replaced the tss and oss sensors. After the replacement, the wrench light keeps coming on even at low speeds. Does the car just need more time for the relearning or there is something wrong with the replaced sensors.

Hi jljbtm,
Does your wife hear the clunking sound when passing over a patehole or a bumpy road only? Or does she hear it all the time while she is driving?
-
Thanks RazorsEdge2019 for updating us about the problem in your car. Actually, the mounting bracket was the damaged part in my car too. I replaced it and the new mounting bracket got damaged too. So, as we discussed it before, I guess the strut gets locked in this car model for some reason. So, what I am going to do, is to insert a high strength rubber washer of half inch thickness between the strut rod and the mounting bracket. Hoping this washer will absorb any impact caused by the strut locking. I will try also to make sure the strut is aligned properly with the knuckle.

Hi bofus,
Do you think the weather could be a factor?

I bought this edge recently so I have no idea whether it has been involved in a big accident or not. But, I assume not since the car alignment seems fine. I did not feel the strut is locked while driving. It was driving perfectly for two weeks since the strut is replaced.

This part of the mount under the center bolt is broken. I even found some broken pieces of the mount. The center nut was about to go through the mount. I am not sure about the tightening torque of the upper nuts. Do you think this could be the reason?

Thank you Razorsedge2019 for the informations.

Thanks fishx65 for your comment. Actually, I know the reason for the clunking sound in my car. It is because the strut mount is damaged. But, what I cannot understand why the newly installed strut mount is also damaged after two weeks of installation. What is wrong in the car that damages the strut mount in the front passenger side. Could it be the wheel alignment?

When I bought my ford edge limited, I found out it has a clunking sound coming out from the front passenger side. I checked the strut and I found the strut bearing and the strut mount are damaged. So, I bought a complete strut and I installed it in the car. The clunking sound disappeared and the new strut works perfectly. After two weeks, I heard the same clunking sound from the same side. It seems that the new strut bearing and strut mount are damaged again. So, there is something wrong causing an excessive load on the strut mount. I am not sure what might be the reason for this damage. Could it be the cv axle or the suspension system.
Wrench light keeps coming on after replacing TSS and OSS sensors - code P0715 & P0717

Voltage and resistance are checked.
Harness wiring is ok.
There are resistances between the transaxle connector C175T and sensors connectors so the Solenoid is also ok.
There is 12 VDC at pin 2 of tss and oss connectors (Solenoid side).
There is a reference voltage of 5 at pins 1 and 3 of the tss and oss connectors (Solenoid side).
So, pcm is ok.
Solenoid is ok
Harness wiring is ok.
I guess I need to replace the new installed tss and oss sensors.
