Went to the garage today. Mechanic was using a Snap On Tool. He was having the same problem as i did. Tried 3 different ways. Mechanic also scanned 3 new Motorcraft sensors & could not get them to scan & get car to beep on the third wheel. So the mechanic had a new universal schrader ez-sensor #33500 took out of box scanned beside vehicle & instantly the vehicle beeped, then scanned the fourth LR wheel to complete relearn. So he then broke down tire & installed new sensor. Long story short, like they were saying don't but Ebay TPM sensors. Paid the $134 bill , light still on. When leaving their parking lot light went out. I just find it hard to believe that 5 sensors out of 8 i ordered were bad, but seen it with my own eyes.

Going to possibly go to local garage tomorrow if they can squueze me in $85 an hour, local Ford wants $165 an hour. The correct sequence is LF, RF, RR, LR, then spare. So wheel 3 is the RR. Keep you all posted.

Well thats what i thought. So purchased another set. Replaced the that wouldn't read with a new Motorcraft sensor & have the same problem. It will not read the third tire. So now two sensors that wouldn't read. So what controls the reading of the sensor BCM?

2012 Ford Edge SEL AWD 3.5 - Recently installed new tires & 4 new Motorcraft TPMS Sensors. While trying to do relearn my Autel TPMS 508WF cant get the first two tires to scan & vehicle horn will beep. Third tire RR will scan into scanner, but will not beep horn & fails every time. It will beep after other3 scanned & keeps failing on the third RR. Any help appreciated.
2020 Edge ST PTU fluid drain & fill
in All Wheel Drive (AWD)

Just purchased my 2012 Edge a couple months ago & i was researching problem areas for the vehicle. When i did the drill & tap on my PTU case, not one drop of fluid came out of mine. So after talking with my brother i installed transmission fluid in mine, because it is a great detergant for breaking down grease. Have run about 300 miles & done 2 fluid changes. Used bore scope & looks almost new inside again, compared to first time being all grease covered. Plan on doing 1 more fluid change before winter & am sticking with transmission fluid. The transmission fluid seems to take the heat generated from exhaust better than gear oil & dosen't gum up as bad.
