Troubling news. Should I experience continued spontaneous flasher activation, I would then suspect front module as cause.

2011 Edge with same flasher problem. How does Ford get away with such poor design? I replaced with 2013 panel. One additional comment to the conversation: the 2013 panel has the CD eject button in the lower left ocrner of the black portion unlike the 2011 panel where the eject button was located on the silver/grey strip immediately above the CD slot and to the right and very difficult to see. So far the changed-out panel is doing the job. When first brought to dealership, I was told the front module would have to be replaced at $1,000 plus. Glad i sought out this site.
