Hello All -
New Here.. I appreciate Everyone's time to read & Respond..
I have an Edge and a 2012 Explorer both with the 2.0 Eco Boost. Ever since way back when I have had ZERO luck in looking for or achieving any info or parts to help the power in both vehicles. I've done a couple small things her and there but Absolutely nothing significant has ever been accomplished.
Honestly, I wish I could just add a couple more pounds of boost to both of my applications but have been un successfull in all approaches.
I recently came across the ( https://www.boombaracing.com/ford-eb-blow-off-valve/ ) FORD EB BLOW OFF VALVE and with that being said I had a thought, Probably a dumb one, but a thought no less.
* Shouldn't we be able to either increase the spring strength or Lessen, or a longer/Shorter spring to possibly add just a tad bit more boost to our systems?
* I also came across the " Boost Control Module " on the K&N Filter site (which is basically for the Duramax Chevy's) but that got me thinking why isn't there one for the 2.0 Eco-Boost.. Why isn't there ""ANYTHING"" we can buy or do to help performance? ( https://www.knfilters.com/21-3101-k-n-boost-control-module )
I was really hoping by purchasing the EB BOV that we might be able to do something with that OR Remove the stock spring in ours, and replace with a different one - And Problem Solved..
And the older I get, The more I realize Life just couldn't be that Easy...lol
I also a couple years ago came across some (Im probably gonna say this wrong...) Pedal assist module that was made by I think NGK or maybe even MSD that did some electronic resistance m odification which is different from stock, that added like "5-7 lbs of Boost" - Buy Ultimately reminded me of the "Tornado Plate" that you could put before your TB which would give you like an "UNBELIEVIEBLE 75-100 Added HP" !!! Ya Right.......NEXT....lol
But I've been searching and hoping there's something out there and was Praying I'd come across a couple enthusiast's on here who also have entered into this endless quest of sorts in acquiring a lil more "Umphhh If You Will"
Anyway - Again Thanks for taking the Time to R&R (Read & Respond) to my Post/Quest...
-Thx Cole
