  1. There are chemicals that will remove it, but you need to find the right ones. Something that will have a molecular affect.

I used Turtle Wax Chrome Polish and it worked pretty well. But still my main question is why should us owners have to contend with this. I've never had this happen with other aluminum or chrome wheels. I think Ford has an inferier product in this wheel cover.

  2. I have a 2010 Edge Limited with the chrome wheel covers. This spring, after a long tough winter, the chome is really tarnished. I spent the afternoon with some chome polish and have them looking fairly good. But I don't think a person should have to put up with this every spring. And are they just going to get worse? Anyone else having the same issue? If so, has Ford offered to do anything?

  3. Get used to it. There are new gov't standards for head restraints that require such a design or a motorized setup that's expensive. You'll see it on most other new vehicles in the next year.

BS, I want comfort and I'm willing to sacrifice some protection for that. I also ride a motorcycle and don't wear a helmet. "Get use to it!"

  4. Try as I might I cannot get the headrest out. I do not really feel a spring when pushing a small allen wrench into the hole.

I HATE these headrests. Like the vehicle but the headrests have to be the worst thing ever invented. Sure wish someone would come out with an aftermarket.

  5. I am also one that hates the headrests. Can someone please explain how you remove the headrest in orer to flip them?

All the new Ford vehicles have these tilted forward headrests. I have drven several other models and some don't seem to bother me like the ones on my Edge. If they werre jsut tilted back 1-2 inches it owudl make a world of difference.

Has anyone found any other modifications that make these headrest better>
