Like some other posts I’ve seen here, over the past month I have experienced increased rattling coming from the trunk/back seat area, mostly driving on local streets. Not so bad at highway speeds. Like others, I’ve checked for loose objects in the spare tire well, removed the foam compartments under the trunk cover, and searched for loose belt buckles but found nothing.
I took it to my dealer who seemed unfamiliar with the problem but offered to charge me $190 to “diagnose” it.
From what I’ve seen here many have eventually tracked it to shock absorbers, sway bars, or both. Are there any new developments/discoveries regarding this? I’m including links to video of the noise.
