Hi,
I am looking to buy a Ford Edge and trying to work out the versions of Sync Systems.
I can see clearly the difference with Sync 2 and 3 in some adverts ass the software looks completely different.
But on some adverts on auto trader they say they have Sync 3 but the images of the screen look different.
Is it possible to have sync 3 with this interface?
I am looking to ensure it can be software updated to give Apple Car Play functions and I have read that Sync 2 is a whole swap out.
I tried asking a car dealer who told me auto trader pulls the information from the VIN and is quite accurate but wouldn't actually check for me.
