Thank you. I don't really understand anything about AWD or transmissions, but I saw that the 09 transmission vs the 11 ratio is different , and I have no idea, but we'll find out.

I have already stripped all interior and body parts of the 09 MKX and I had previously stripped down my 2011 MKX. I added to the 09 mk liftgate, rear bumper, impact bar and tail lights from my 11 mkx and everything fits. Doors seem the same so I am not going to remove them. Now, The only problem I have found is that front does not fit because 2011 Edge has extension and the 2011 radiator support and fenders does not fit. I suppose I should remove the ones from my 2011 MKX and weld them to the 2009 MKX frame. As for the electronics, I plan to move the dashboard with all the wiring, computer bcm and other parts to the 2009 MKX, suggestions?

Sorry is my bad I am the original owner of a crashed 2011 MKX and have been looking for parts and pieces for months. First, I bought a 2011 Edge and now this 2009 MKX.

It seems like all the parts fit together. Although I see different things that don't seem to match or fit, I'll have to take it apart to see. My biggest problem now is that the 09 Lincoln MKX is AWD and my 2011 Lincoln MKX is AWD. I have no idea what I'm going to do.

I bought a 2009 MKX for parts and didn't count this suv has pano roof and AWD,. to transfer all parts from my already stripped down 2011 Lincoln MKX to convert the newly acquired 09 MKX to a 2011. ECU and everything related but my 2011 MKX is FWD and doesn't have a pano roof, does it need to be reprogrammed? and as for the BCM wiring assembly, can they work on this AWD MKX?

In my case, I bought an MKX AWD at a junkyard and I plan to swap all the parts of my Lincoln MKX FWD. Does it require programming or any other adjustments?

Hi there. I saw on the Ford Parts website that mostly all parts for my 2011 Ford Edge are compatible from 2007 to 2015, depending on the specifications, and I'm curious. Could I swap the dashboard, all interior panels and parts from my wasted 2011 Ford Edge to a 2009 MKX and all exterior parts and about engine , suspensión and powertrain? Repair for my Edge are beyond its current value, and I was able to find a 2009 MKX searching for DIY solutions to fix my car and save money. Thanks you all
