Hello, our 2013 Edge brake pedal randomly gets very soft. You have to go to the floor with it to get any braking. Once you cycle the pedal several times, pressure comes back. This happens so infrequently, it's hard to know what's really going on. I immediately suspect the master cylinder, but wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and what the fix was. The car has just under 70K miles and is still on the factory brakes. I'm thinking about trying a pressure bleed on the whole system first. Thanks

No brake booster recall for the 2013. The only recall listed is a door latch recall.

Hello everyone, We have a 2013 Limited that has just under 70K miles on it. Lately the brake pedal will randomly go to the floor easily with minimal braking happening. After pumping the brake pedal, pressure comes back. It won't do it again sometimes for weeks. It doesn't do it frequently enough for a service technician to be able to duplicate the issue. There are no warning lights on the dash. It could be a master cylinder, but I have also read the ABS module could cause this? Has anyone had this happen and what was the fix? Thanks
