danostuff, did you ever end up finding a solution? your situation is exactly the one I am in now
exact same software version and hub part number, difference being I'm trying to connect to an Android phone, so I don't think the hub be incompatible with Carplay is the problem here
right now trying to see if I can revert to an older version 2.2 which hopefully fixes it, but struggling to even do that
I keep getting the same message "Updating System Software..." and waiting forever for nothing to happen
