I hand wash my cars weather permiting. If its in the middle of winter then I sometimes spray them off in a car wash bay. If you want to read up on detaling Autopia is a great site.

Hmm. I think I am going to have to take mine back to the dealership and get it checked out. I am in Austin Texas and it is starting to get warm after all of the cool rain. My Edge does not get that cold. I usually have my ac set to the max and the fan on 3 or 4. Interestingly enough, my kids get cold in the back seat and my wife and I are still hot in the front seat. The black leather interior is not helping. I might get a dash cover to help with this issue.

I have noticed this as well. It seems that it takes forever for the interior to cool down. I have the dark leather seats and they do heat up but it just takes a long time for it to cool down. It has only been in the high 80's here. When it gets really hot I am worried that it will not get cool enough to be bearable. Shawn.
