2008 Edge Limited; check engine light came on today for the first time, and sputtering of the engine happened. RPM's were hovering around 300 - 500, and nearly stalled out (this was when idling). After driving, all went well. Located (as name states) in Europe, so I need to have the best idea first... Thanks for the help.

I have a similar problem with the knocking; I have a 2008 Limited, but am living in Europe with this right now (I am on a three year work placement, and brought the car with me). 1) how do I go about getting this repaired? 2) what is the exact problem I ask them to look at? 3) what about the warranty? I have asked several times about my warranty while in Europe, and everyone has told me that it should stand when warranty work needs to be done. Thanks!

I am located in Europe for the next little while, and am curious about getting a repair done on what is seeming to be a PTU problem (my car shifts heavily from first to second occasionally). My question is: will the warranty from the factory (I bought the car in Canada from Ford, and brought it with me) cover the cost?

My battery in my 2008 Limited has died approximately 8 times in the last two months. I brought the car with me to Europe, and it was adapted in order to fit the lighting descriptions, etc. My problem is I don't know where to start with testing it to figure out where it was screwed up. Any suggestions? Please help... my wife is ready to set fire to the car, and I love it...

I need to replace a passenger side mirror on my 2008 Edge Limited. I am living in Austria, so my dad will bring it over, and I don't want to mess this up. I have a few questions: 1) Are 2008 mirrors the same as a '07 - '10? 2) Are they hard to replace? I have the power, heated, with puddle lamp lights 3) If the plastic housing (textured) is the part broken, can I only buy that part? 4) Where is the best place to get this?

I am in the midst of importing my '08 Edge to Europe, and the lighting needed some adjustments. I have had the lights installed, but there seems to be a problem with the wiring. Can anyone seem to have ANY IDEA how I might rectify this???

I am rewiring my tail lights (imported 08 Limited to Austria) to comply with ECE regulations. Anyone familiar in how to do this, as apparently, all I need to do is change some bulbs and do some rewiring... Thanks!

I just imported my Edge to Austria for personal use, but need to get the tail lights changed to comply with the local requirements. Any suggestions on how / where to get them, and the approximate cost?

I just moved from Canada to Austria, and am trying to register / insure my Edge (2008 Limited). I need to change the tail-lights to correspond with the European standards, and am wondering if anyone can help me by telling me where they got theirs, as well as the cost (ballpark)? Thank you!!!
