Hi. Ordered a 55w kit from DDM.. Still having a problem with the harness. Damn relay keeps buzzing when ever the lights are on. Put the lights in several days ago and havent used the Edge untill i find out what the issue is. DDM says check to see if you have DRL's. My Edge does not. Still at a loss..Emailed them with a new set of questions, Lets see what goes on. So i guess my only complaint is the buzzing relay...

Thanks wannabang for your response. Your input gave me some ideas and i will use them..When i said fog i ment to say driving lights. ill have to check on the 15 watt thing..Im sure your Edge would look good with the 6000. Thanks for the names of some sellers.....

Hi all. Wanting to upgrade to HID on the 2010. Looking for opinions on wattages for Low beams, Hi and Fog lights. Was thinking 35 watt on low beam . 55 watt on high beam and not sure on fog, 35 or 55...What are your thought opinions on this or experiences... im also looking at 5000k for all. Also wattages for led's for the interior...Thanks guys

Just got it. Bulb checked out fine. everything again looked good under hood. took fuse out whileit didnt show blown replaced it anyway and that was the problem. Odd. Unless something in the fuse i can see. But anyway. Thanks for the input. One last thing. Thinking about putting HID exeon lights in. Any preference from you guys on wattage ? color.
55watt for high and low beam and 55 for fog? Let me know what you think...

Wow, surprised to see you still here AKirby. I remember you from the days of Lex and a few others back in 09-10..Im going to go back under the hood and recheck a few things. If it turns out being in the SJB what types of issues could that be...Anyway let me check under the hood....Thanks for the response AK

Hi guys. been a few years since my last post. Forum looks great.

turned on headlights today, noticed one low beam out. The rest work. Bulb checked out ok...got my tester out. have no power to bulb socket. fuse ok. At a loss. Any ideas on what to check next? Thanks

I didn't say there was anything wrong with it. I just pointed out that the map light illuminates the glove box sufficiently for most tasks - something the OP probably didn't know.

 

Why do all your mods have to be "worthwhile" or "necessary"? Why can't they just be for fun or personal preference?

Ya know, i just have to chime in here because akirby, you just make it to easy. Ive read alot of your posts INCLUDING the # 2 post in another section of this forum, you know what one im talking about and yes you come off as an arrogant asshole .Mods are just what they are Mods. nobody but nobody says you have to do them. alot of guys have great ideas on here and whats best is posting a picture of a finished product. the glove compartments lack of a light is a "PAIN IN THE ASS" The use the map light to illuminate the glove box is not the greatest idea especially at night, but hey thats something i expect from you . Thanks Lex the glove box light idea works great!!! p.s. akirby "Just don't try to rationalize everything". I apologize to the others on here in advance for the wording in this post but this guy here seems to piss people off with his comments . Im not trying to be the forum cop but this guy cracks me up.

Hi Eddie. :D Currently, there are only two settings possible with the "AutoLock" feature: "On", which locks after two seconds at 12 mph, or "Off" which completely disables the feature. Obviously, if the "AutoLock" feature is turned off, you must manually press the lock buttons (power or regular buttons).

 

There is currently no third option, and no known "hack" to give a third option.

 

If you check your Owners Manual, you will find the instructions for disabling and enabling the feature. Look in the Index under "Locks", then "Autolock".

Hey listen, To me its just a feature i can do with out , Like the wife says , she likes when the doors lock when the car is put in drive like "OTHERS" Sooooo on that note - If you have no positive contributions to the question i asked , Dont reply , AGAIN i dont like the 12 mph lock and if it can be changed i will change it.

Like my other vehicles. I Just like the idea that when you put the car in drive the doors lock. thats all. Im still scratching my head at the 12 mph set

Theres got to be someway to change this , dont care about the moving around in driveway or whatever else they come up with,The doors locking at 12 mph, ITS A BIG PAIN IN THE ASS. Anyone if you come across a way Let me know Thanks

Hi All

I see that the auto-locks lock the doors after the vehicle has hit the 12 mph range. Does anyone know of a way to make the doors lock automatically say when the vehicle is first started or even when the brake is depressed and the shifter moved into either reverse or drive?

My other vehicles are set this way (when the vehicle is started) and was wondering if it could be done to the Edge. I just like the feature that way.Any help is appreciated Thanks
