I called my dealer about the TPMS and a couple of other little things, I was given this reply "Only 90 vehicles left the plant with this problem", mine not being one of them. Now I am not sure if he meant 90 in total or 90 in Canada, also my previous car had the TPMS but it didnt show up in the check either, but it did come on when I lost pressure in one of my tires.

According to the owners manual on pg. 210 you must tow your AWD with either all 4 wheels on the ground, or all 4 wheels off the ground, no dollies you put only under 2 wheels. This is for towing behind recreational vehicles only.

It also includes the following tips:

1) Tow only in the forward direction

2) Release parking brake

3) Place transmission shift lever in Neutral (N)

4) Turn the key in the ignition to the ACC position

5) Do not exceed 65 MPH (105 KPH)

6) Start the engine and allow it to run for five minutes at the beginning of each day and fuel stop.

Ford will be able to pull up the fault codes to see what caused this issue.

 

I'm sure they will correct it for you. Don't worry. It will all work out ok.

I'm with you on the flipping, but you might be wrong about the code, if the problem is in the CAT, if something has come loose inside for what ever reason it won't show up as a fault, this is not very likely though as it would continue to stall, not right away but as you drove for a distance it would plug again.

What weight oil is recommended for the Edge/MKX? 5W20?

 

FYI, the newer automotive engines are built with very tight tolerances. I would expect

overtime MPG's for these vehicles to increase. It may take several thousand miles.

Yep 5w20 is the oil you are supposed to use

I wouldn't pay to have it programmed, on pg. 126-127 of the owners manual it gives you the procedure so you can do it yourself.
