Yes I have noticed, however I have seen 2 in person and really liked them, but the exterior color was not my choice. If I had ordered I would have gotten the Seinna but I settled for the black.
Strange, isn't it? It seems like the Sienna is only available on ordered Edge's. I really wanted to see the Sienna in person before ordering.

I've been waiting to see an '11 Edge with Sienna Leather (in person), however I have still not found a dealer that had an Edge with the Seinna Leather.
I've even went to fordvehicles.com and searched everywhere, but nothing with sienna shows up.
Anyone else notice this???
-
Did you not bring up these issues when your Edge was delivered? Rule #1....always go through everything before you sign! Talk to your salesperson, sales manager. If you don't get the answers you're looking for, don't buy. It's really quite simple.
-
Bordeaux Reserve Red with the Sienna interior is the perfect combination. My wife's fav colors.
Did you get Nav & BAMR?
-
Kinda funny you ask...we wondered the same and headed to the Ford dealership yesterday to look at an '11 Taurus (Bordeaux Reserve Red Metallic).
We loved the cinnamon from last year and wanted to see how close the two colors are. BRRM looks great....very close to cinnamon.
I didn't notice any purplish hues.

Just came across some excellent info on the 2011 Edge...thought I'd share. Most of the info has been out for quite awhile, but this is about the only website that has such in-depth, detailed info all in one place:
-
Very nice. If you don't know about it already, get yourself an XPLAN pin and you should hit close to that invoice price. I'm looking at a 2011 Sport myself, fully loaded, Red Candy Metallic paint. Should be a huge step up from the RAV.
You own a Bullitt Stang by any chance?
Yes, I will be using XPLAN...through Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Actually my wife will be the primary driver for the Edge...she loves 'em.
Yes, I have a 2001 Bullitt Mustang...original owner, 42K miles, stock, signed by Richard Petty and not a scratch on her. She stays in the garage mostly now...go to a few car shows and take her out on nice days. Going up to Steamboat Springs this month for the Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup.
My daily driver is my Expedition...
The 2011 Edge's are gonna be awesome! Hope you get what you're looking for. Do you have one on order? If not, when will you decide?

Here in the Great White North, I used a site called carcostcanada.com to get detailed pricing on both the 2010 and 2011 models and do a direct compare. They are very close in price and you're totally correct, holding out gets you a the next 'Bond' car for almost the same $$$. PIN me if you want a breakdown, I'd be glad to fire it over to you. Although if you're in the US not sure how helpful that'd be.
Thanks. I did get pretty good pricing info at cars.com. To me, I didn't see much difference at all, but would like to see what Ford has to say. I called yesterday...they said they would call back. Called today, a different person said they'd call back. Nothing yet...sales must be really good not to call back potential customers. LOL

My dealer confirmed with me yesterday that Job one does start July 12th but he wasn’t sure as to what the delivery date will be. He said that when the Fusions came out they were delivered a lot later then they had originally thought because Ford wanted all the dealers to get them at the same time. He also told me that he hadn’t received pricing guides yet for the 2011's so if I were to order it today I wouldn’t now what it was going to cost me until he gets a pricing guide. Where you able to get all of the pricing information prior to ordering?
My dealer also does not have pricing info. They said I can order, but they wouldn't know the price until it comes back from Ford.
Sorry, but I'm not gonna order an Edge if I don't have a price. I asked him to look into it a bit more and to call me back. Is anyone else just a little miffed as to why FORD is holding out on pricing a 2011 Edge??? Funny how we can go to Cars.com and a few other sites and price it, but the Ford dealers and the Ford websites have no pricing info. I can only assume they want to sell as many '10s as possible. Based on what I see, there's good reason to hold out for an '11...pricing looks very similar to a '10, even with updated styling, suspension, engine tuning, mytouch, BLIS, adaptive cruise, driver entry package, etc.

Maybe you don't follow the car market that closely but I can name 15 vehicles off the top of my head that were an owners nightmare their first model year.
When you get a chance do a little research yourself.
Lastly, I dont think anyone on this board wants to be inconvenienced by bringing their car in every other week for a problem.
If you read some of the posts on this board you would see owners having their car in the shop longer than they've had it at home.
Others bringing it in for the same issue over and over again. I'd be happy if I never got to use my warranty. Unfortunately
im waiting for a part that is currently on backorder to fix the thumping my car makes on incline acceleration. At least Ford has
FINALLY came forward to say there is an issue and they are working on manufacturing a fix.
Ok, go ahead and tell the viewing audience the 15 vehicles that were nightmares the first model year.
Who said anything about bringing in a car every other week? I think it's a bit over the top to insinuate that 1st model years are that bad.
Yours is a 2010...I had a 1st model year Edge that had less problems than yours....hmmmmmm.

You also get the added bonus of being Ford's test dummy.
I'd never buy a first model year vehicle.
Sorry, but that's a myth. Numbers-wise, there is no proof to support your claim. Maybe years ago, you could say that.
I've owned Ford's my entire life and wouldn't own anything else. I've had very few problems and cannot tie any of them to "1st model year" issues.
When you get a chance, do a little research and find out how many warranty claims for the '10 vs. '11 sometime next year...
Lastly, that's what a warranty is for. Ford has always done a great job at warranty work and keeping me happy, which is why I'm buying another Ford.

You can take advantage of most "public" incentives with X Plan. (Cash Back, Bonus Cash, Memorial Day Bonus, Etc.) You can't with others...i.e. Military, College Graduate, etc.
Ask your local dealer for clarification.
-
Well, after looking at the 2011 options and pricing...I will most certainly be waiting for the 2011. Much better technology, refinement, and styling for the same price...actually, you get more for your money with the 2011!
-
The dealer had the prices. I got in on the x-plan pricing
If your go to cars.com, you can build and price there
Interesting...Ford hasn't posted pricing on it's website, but they have it here: http://www.cars.com/ford/edge/2011/

Agree! Enjoy your ride. If something happens, take it to the dealer and have them fix it until you're happy. I had a small leak, took it back and told them not to return it to me unless it's 100% fixed...and oh, by the way, I'll need a rental too...and not one of those small silver Focus'...I'll need something comparable to the Edge. Worked for me and I couldn't be happier. Actually, my wife coudn't be happier. I've only driven it 10 or 15 times in 6 months...I have to practically beg to take her car. lol
Life is good everyone...enjoy!

Bullitt would probably sell you his.

I may get "BAMR"

Well, after just 4,000 miles, the Edge sprang a major oil leak.
I took her in this morning because of a few drops on the garage floor. After 10 minutes, they came back and told me the Edge has to stay. Seems as though the oil is leaking between the tranny and engine on the top side. Told me they'd call me later today with more info and that it could be in the shop for 4-7 days.
They gave me a rental and said they'd keep in touch. Unfortunately the rental is a little Focus which I told them was not acceptable for a replacement for the Edge. So, I'll go back and turn in the Focus later today for something bigger.
Keeping my fingers crossed that she gets fixed right the first time. I'll keep everyone posted.
Cheers,
Bullitt
Just got the update. After further investigation, it is tranny fluid leaking out. It's coming out of the PTU shaft seal. PTU will have to be replaced. Looks like I should have it back late Monday. Now back to Enterprise and get rid of this Focus and into something bigger for the weekend.
Cheers,
Bullitt

Any comments out there on how Ford measures legroom?
I would say driving position has a lot to do with it. I believe the seats sit a little higher (from the floor) than the F/T/500. Also, the seats are well designed and very comfortable. It all adds up to a very comfortable vehicle to drive and ride in. I've only driven ours 3 times since it was purchased...my wife won't give it up. I've never seen a woman so excited over a vehicle. If she's happy, then I'm happy. Peace...Bullitt.

Outstanding...keep the stories and pictures coming!

Okay, so who else out there owns Ford vehicles other than your Edge?
My daily drive is a Sport Trac and my wife drives the Edge. I also own a 2001 Bullitt Mustang. When I need a little more excitement, the RoadStar comes out of the garage. Here's a few pictures.
Post pics if you got 'em!
Cheers,
Steve
