I have read hundreds of posts on here and looked at crutchfields what fits for the 2007 ford edge speakers and I have no luck finding what the max depth can be without causing an issue. The deepest ones I saw on crutchfield were 2 15/16" but I am looking into putting a bracket to house a 6.5" woofer for my component set and it is around 3.3" deep.

Does anyone know the exact depth that the speaker can be?

My ptu was leaking and they determined it was a seal on the inside that can't be repaired. So now I am waiting for the warranty company to approve my claim for a new transfer case.

You could have a loose connection on the back of your unit, if its an amplified system your amp could be shorting out or overheating.

I am glad I didn't have any issues with mine, activated it online in about two minutes.

Picked it up on saturday, very sweet ride. Its already filthy because wisconsin weather sucks. I will take some pics after I get it washed.

Did it come with the factory amplifier?

Got a 07 SEL

My Edge

Basically got approved to spend up to 30k, so next week I shall have a new edge hopefully.

We thought we might save money on a new Edge by getting the features we wanted on an SEL. When we got it priced, we found that the Limited was actually less expensive. Whatever you decide, I know you'll love your Edge as much as we do.

I will have to look at that when I am looking at list my buddy has put together for me.

My buddy works at a car dealership and has been looking for me, I was originally going to get a limited but I have decided I will get a sel with the features I like from the limited, mostly just the leather seats and the dual climate control. Seeing as not much has really changed inside or out from the 07 to the 09, I am going to get what ever the best deal is with 35k miles or less, hoping to keep the loan under 25k.

The bank is crunching the numbers and tomorrow I will find out how much I am preapproved for, then I plan to buy an edge within the week.
