  1. OK - no laughing. I really did read the manual and got even more confused.

I have the SEL+ AWD with climate control. It seems to work great when I set a temp and let it go on it's own.

BUT fall is coming and some days I just want fresh air - you know, the kind that you used to get by sliding the vent control to open.

If I turn off the "AUTO" and turn on the fan, a temp still comes up and the AC comes on.

Any one know how to get fresh air with the auto climate system?????

    Thanks!

  2. I have to say, it was a rainy Saturday. I got bored and went out to see what was new. I had not even heard of the Edge. I was not shopping for a car - just looking.

Drove one. My heart went Boom! I figured out how to buy one.

I love the way it handles, the comfortable seats, the great room in the back for the dogs, all the creature comforts - yes, I got the SEL+ AWD with Nav and Sirius.

    It is just plain enjoyable!

  3. I write very little but read a lot. I have never tinted my windows but did so after reading this forum.

Had a very nice local guy here in MA do it - I did the front driver and passenger - bringing them to 35 which is the MA limit. I also did a strip across the front windshield (about 8 in - a little longer than legal).

The windshield will take some time to get used to but I really am liking it. Whoever said it went well on the Edge was correct - it looks great. My car is a Creme Brulee SEL+ AWD.

Also did a black pinstripe down the side. REally sets it off. Breaks it up a little. Looking good!

On order is the bumper protector and window visor deflectors.

    Thanks for all the ideas!

  4. :happy feet:

Creme Brulee, Camel interior, SEL AWD Plus with navigation and Sirius. No Alta Vista

Loving it! Great acceleration, very comfortable. Yes, there is reflection but not driving me crazy or causing problems. Easy Entry is a lot of fun.

I have three beagles so I wish the rear seats came right upto the front seats when laying down. They leave about a foot for the dogs to fall down. I put up the doggie fence and put the poles all the way to the floor - did the trick. No problems with them falling in the space or coming up front to scratch the leather.

I look forward to doing a lot of driving!
