  1. I just picked up my Titanium Edge this past Friday, and I tried the Ventilated Seat Test of 2015. Even on Level 1, I can reach around behind and feel the warm spot on the mid-back of the seat after even a minute. I tried it on Level 3 on an hour long trip Friday evening, and it was considerably warm to the touch. Didn't really feel it on my back so much, but if I was in the back seat accidentally hitting that spot, it would be jarring how warm/hot it was.

  2. I'll be sure to do the same thing when mine comes in. Mine was ordered on April 13th, but the build date was July 7. Something was obviously being sorted out in May! ;)

I'm hoping to receive mine in the next week or two..hopefully.

  3. I got this CD slot mount that I absolutely LOVE:

It's the InfiniApps CD slot magnetic mount. I just place the little metal plate inside my case on my phone, slide this mount in the CD slot (since I really don't use CDs any longer), and just slap the phone on it. I have never had my phone (Note 3) fall off on even the bumpiest of roads.

I even had a magnet plate inside my Nexus 7 case, and that held just fine as well. Best mount I've ever used.

  4. I currently own a 2009 Ford Edge SEL AWD with 66200 miles on it. I bought it in Feb 2010 used with 18000 miles on it. My loan is paid off in May 2016 and I have just under 10,000 left to pay on it.

My father has been talking to me about possibly buying my current one off of me to replace their 13-year old van with 140,000 miles on it. It wouldn't be soon, but it may be next winter.

When does the Edge usually have its end-of-model-year clearance sale?

I was poking around on their site the other day, doing a build & price on a 2014 SEL with a lot of bells and whistles (more than I have right now), and between what I think I can get for trade-in on this, and what I would be willing to put down right now on the car, I could lower my car payment about $200/month on a 3-year/36,000 lease.

I guess, I'm just a bit torn; want to help out my dad (if possible, and make it affordable for him), but also time it well with Ford.
