  1. I took my 2007 Edge to the dealer this week and let them do the TSB on the rear moonroof. Sadly, they actually made the squeak worse. After having my wife drive me around while i was in the back I found the source of the squeak. The squeak is coming from a styrofoam support piece under the corner of the headliner. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm able to put my hand against the styrofoam to get the squeak to stop. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this issue? I'm thinking i can get something to wedge against it it'll fix it, but i'd like to hear other ideas first.

styrofoam piece is under the circled area. Rear moonroof, passenger side, front corner

  2. based on the pictures on sport wing's website, are you sure you are putting the correct one on the rear door? did you get 2 long and 2 short pieces?

I purchased and i'm ready to install body side moldings from Sport Wing. I believe the ones for the rear door are too long. When mounted at the specified height in the instructions the bullet end of the rear molding extends about 3 inches into the curve of the rear wheel well and therefore does not lay flat. These moldings are 28,5 inches long. Can anyone who has these tell me if they are the correct size?

hey thanks for the completely irrelevant reply

  4. I picked up my 2007 SEL+ two weeks ago and have been immersed in the plethora of info on this site! I've already swapped out all of the interior lights and license plate lights with LEDs (thanks to the help of many of you). I also plan on swapping out the puddle lights within the next week or so. Other mods and accessories I would like to do soon are the HID kit, side body molding, and the bushwacker bumper protector. Other than that, I'd like to keep it clean and simple.

oh yeah.....the ride is black with black leather interior. It has the Navigation, BAMR, and Sub.

  5. I too just purchased a used edge out of the factory warranty. I did some research prior to purchasing and found that you can still get the Ford ESP plan, but you have to get the car inspected. Check out fordwarrantys.com . The inspection around $120 if i remember. This website also has coupon codes that you can google. I think the one i found saved around $180. Also, when you're filling out the quote be sure to give your email. I received a promo code for 185 off if i signed up within the next day.

My dealer ended up matching the price I had online so I didn't need to go this route. Hope this helps.
