My BIL has an explorer with the same option (at least that's what we think) and when driving his truck, if you apply the brakes to slow down, the volume goes down on the stereo...and I like it as a safety app. It evidently was on my previous explorer but I didn't know it. Now I have the edge and I found it on the menu button, but it's not working the way his does. If anyone knows the name of that option (in case we are wrong) please let me know what it's called. I've seen on Google where it's called several variations...audio volume control, stereo volume control, etc.

I think I'm missing some critical programming step(s) to get this to work. Any pointers? I clicked on the menu button and scrolled as described in the directions, set it for the lowest and the highest settings and all numbers in between and I still do not notice any difference in the stereo sound when I apply the brakes. Thanks!
