how long do spark plugs last

It would certainly be nice to be able to glance at what the outside temp is and what radio station I have. Now that I have driven it more I can remember that the speedometer hand indicates 60 mph if it is straight up I guess I was spoiled because I traded in a Chrysler T&C that had an overide switch that kept the instrument lights their brightest at all timeds.

There must be someway to make the instrument lighting it's brightest all the time. The change in brightness to dim makes it impossible to see. Even in bright daylight if the lights were at their brightest they would be easier to see. Couldent the module for them be overridden somehow?
