Hello all, first official post other than my NewB post. So here is my dilemma. My edge is Canadian, Built in Canada, Driven in Canada, but for some reason, every time I start the car, even after changing it to metric, it always goes back to Miles instead of remaining in KLM. So I thought if I disconnect the negative on the battery and let it sit, I would reset the computer, but this brings me to my next issue. How do you remove this clamp thing that is on the battery? It's not your normal loosen the bolt and slide the ring off. I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to cars, I have a heavily moded Mazda 6, and use these type of forums a lot, but I have never seen anything like the battery clamp. Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks akirby, the car is completely Canadian. Tried changing the settings but it keeps going back. Now I got to figure out how to remove the negative side of the battery to reset the cpu. See if that helps.

Hello all, I'm from Milton Ontario. My Wife and I are loving our new edge. Only complaint so far is, when we start the car, we have to change the settings to display in metric, so it reads KLM to empty. Once we turn the car off and restart, we need to switch to metric again as it doesn't hold our preferences. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks all.
