Would a 10" wide wheel with a +40 mm offset fit front and rear on a Ford Edge?
I'm thinking about buying wheels like these:

Found some on eBay that use the clear OE housing, but they are a retrofit.

Do you mean 2011 tail lights (red lens)? If so, yes, but they aren't LED. I just installed some today on my 2008.
-
Got my tails in.. Installed... For now I simpply hooked them up the same way as the old tails I used the brake/turn together.. Not using the separate turn signal in the new tails. I will work that out this weekend. Just couldn't wait to get them in a hooked up for now. I do have a small problem with turn signals. R side will blink fast and the L side does 2 quick blinks then a slow one then 2 quick then 1 slow... not sure about this but will work the bugs out and post it up...
Any update? Just bought a pair of 2011 tail lights for my 2008.

Any insight on the wiring? I just ordered a pair of new 2011 tail lights for my 2008.

Okay, thank you. Message sent.

Also, what about the TPMS sensors? You having them taken out or are they going with the set?
-
Any close-up pictures of the wheels and tires? Why are you selling? I'm seriously interested.
-
What model of tires? Condition of wheels, any damage or scratches? Estimated miles on tires? Any more photos?
-
Still available? They fit an Edge, right?
-
Sold to kevpayton this morning. Thanks for the interest!

Are these still available?
Sure are.

$350 shipped.

Hmmmm. Might work as a winter wheel set.
Would work great. Let me know.

The following comes to mind. They are inexpensive and are very durable.
Collinite 845
Duragloss 601 layered with 501

Nitrogen would definitely be a step up from H20. :P

Yes, #2.

It's the 6 speed transmission. I've experienced this with every Ford vehicle I've driven that has a 6 speed transmission. I usually experience it when slowing down and accelerating again. Never a "clunk" but definitely a jerk. At least with the lesser speed transmissions you couldn't feel the transmission shifting.

Buy it out now and you can turn around in 6 months and sell it for a $3K profit (or trade it in). I'd buy it, drive it for another year while they get the bugs out of the 2011s then see if you can make the numbers work.
Great advice, I agree. My Edge is paid for, but I actually plan to do the same in a couple years. Although with so many redesigns and new models I'm not completely sure I'll get another Edge. Will just have to see when the time comes.

Scrub it real good with a brush (be sure not to touch paint) and use something like Mother's Back to Black or Poorboy's Trim Restorer to turn it black again.
