Not that this helps but I don't get the ford sync website at all. I can't tell if there are updates or not. I mean the system seems pretty outdated. Roads that have been around for 20 years arent even on my map in sync, the terrain lacks any form of color, and my sync system is unbelievably slow. Why would Ford launch this when it takes 2 mins from startup to turn on your heated seats, change a song and turn on the rear view camera?

Just as of 2 days ago my bluetooth wont work. my phone wont detect it and it wont detect my phone. I played a song and it would lag, cut out, and then go REALLY loud when i didnt even touch anything.

Is there anyway you can load the Lincoln mytouch software onto the edge?

Where can I find the PCM code? or without having to take off a panel can someone tell me it for the 2011 sport?

While were on this topic, this system is SUCH a bitch when I'm washing my vehicle. I'm surprised I don't drain my battery with that light show.

Typically the Sylvania Osram site is my hero, but I've never had a brand new vehicle, and 2011 isn't on there yet. There are some minor changes with the 2011 from the 2010 so I'm wondering if anyone has a bulb guide for it. Front, back, interior. Everything.

There are alot of things that are disabled while driving. It says for your safety these have been disabled but its more of a hazard when i get fed up trying to do a simple task and the sync system is telling me its disabled.

there should be 'jailbreaks' for sync systems that let people put open source apps on there so we can enable that stuff while driving or iphone texting support, etc.

I'm looking to get some winter rims and tires, and honestly, I like the look of the black steel rims just because people know that they are winter rims and your nice set of 22's arent getting chipped up by the rocks and sand in the winter instead of the smaller ford edge rims. So I'm wondering if the 17" ones will fit with brake caliper clearance and if the TPMS things will mount on to them? I really don't want to spend $1900 on a set of winter tires and rims so I'm looking at a cheap decent alternative, and the guy at canadian tire said " Sorry, we dont have winter tires in 265/40/R22" and i obviously dont want to get winter tires for my 22's but he said he wont even touch my vehicle because of the brake caliper clearance talking to me like im an idiot.

pretty sure the rear ends are the same so id say yes

now thats just the exterior im guessing, whether the wiring or the way it clips in is different i cant be too sure.

im still unaware where that coin holder thing goes though

i think the reasons why people arent impressed with the LED's is because they buy the straight on LED's. From personal experience you need the SMD led's that are all the way around every which way. Most of the light is reflected off the tail light so having a light that just shines straight on like these

wont really do much

I used to use them on my chrome rims, never have used the mothers chrome polish on these edge rims yet but thanks for the heads up!

so i called the dealer and i have to stop by tomorrow to get them to look at it. apparently they have to take pictures and send them off to ford and then i get dealt with or not

as for cleaner, i recently bought some lucas oil slick mist spray and it seems to work pretty good on most everything

not sure if i should be using it on these but it says it works on everything from leather to chrome so it seems to be working great

True enough. I apologize. I contacted the dealer and from what the email seems to say I'm supposed to make an appointment to come in and see if they can do something for me. I guess looking at it from the other way not much can be done about chips, it just sucks. and as for the tire the roads arent the dealers fault. so sorry everyone about my rambling and i'll let you know how the process plays out in a calm manner lol

My attitude is not uncalled for nor is my language when it comes to a brand new vehicle. I'm not wasting $50,000 on something that needs as much maintenance this soon on my part. I don't care if it's luck or a bad batch from ford, if you had these problems I think you'd be at the same level I am. When it does nothing but snow for 2 weeks and you get a chip in your brand new $1300 rim and your tire keeps going flat in -30 degree weather I think you'd be where I am. So stop telling me to lighten up please.

and now ive had to fill up my front two tires twice in 2 days.

i bought a new vehicle to get away from problems not get more. gah, this is bad.

ive had alot of rims in my time on my vehicles and NEVER have i seem something chip this easily. its crap.

and as for the wheel locks you think it'd be an easy problem to go away, but its not the case.

although im hoping the first poster is correct in the fact that the specs do say 'polished aluminum' with tuxedo black accents

so im hoping its not a chip and just that plastic...

OH and also, how many LED's are in the first cup holder of the ambient lighting? (the bigger one)
