  1. Thank you Bender and Ford Guru, here is when I stand. One of the tires were replaced. Not because the the dealership was nice to me, but because I bought extra warranty to cover any road hazard. So when this was presented to them the replaced the tire. That was last Wednesday 22nd. So my son drove it home that night, after spending almost all day with these guys. That nigh after coming from work , I discovered that the tread pattern on the replaced 22 is not the same as my original. What is wrong with this dealership in Brampton. Mean while the tires still continues to leak . My son took it back on Wednesday and Final on Thursday the took the wheels out and real seal the tire. What a wonderful job the did on my nice aluminum rims. It looks like the used crowbars to take my tires out. There are gouge marks and scrapes and dings on my rims. It looks like the drag it on the concrete floor. This morning I had to pump it up again. As for ford , the rep I spoke to last week is backing up the dealer and refuse to look or even talk about he TBS for leaking tire. I am not Finished with this dealership (CO#0Ny Ford). This is just pure rip off. My next approach is to seek legal advice with a lawyer.
  2. Hi Bender, I am having the same problem with my 2010 sports . My dealer refuse to replace the tires. To My surprise Ford also refuse to help me out. I have been pumping these tire every three days for the past year. I got scared on the 401 when my front tire went flat. No leaks were found on the tires and when I mention the TBS to the ford manager that handles my dealer, her reply was that she does not want to hear anything about it. When I asked here what should I do. her reply was that it is up to me if I want to take it to someone who can fix it. HELP anyone............The vehicle is still under ford warranty .
  3. Thank you Sparky for those comforting words. I just hope they fix it soon. : Best Regards Jagie
  4. I got my service appointment this morning at 8:00am. An hour and a half later, the service rep agrees with me that both problems are related and that they have to order a "JUNCTION BOX" to fix this problem. Once the junction box is installed, they will have to reprogram. Estimated time is ????. They don't know how long it will take. I love this vehicle, but I am dissappointed because of this early problems.
  5. Update: No programming of any kind on the remote is lost , all functions work. It will only work when the remote is placed around the parking brake area. Now , when this happened, I drove about 20km when the computer displays the Tire Pressure fault Monitor message on the console. This is telling me that the signal from the tire pressure sensors are not reaching the computer also. So it seems these two problems are related. I will take it back to the dealer in the morning.
  6. Hi Guys, I have a new 2010 Sports Edge. Last Friday I was adjusting the steering wheel hight, and it seems that it cause something to come loose under the dash. My keyless remote will not work. After checking all the fuses and battery on the remote, I discovered that the remote works when placed under the steering wheel. After playing aroung with the steering wheel height. I was able to increase the range of the remote. It seems like the antennea for the receiver is loose. Now the tire pressure is telling me there is a fault. Any ideas, before I take it back to the dealer. Thank you. Best Regards Jagie
