I looked at a lot of youtube videos with the dealer walkaround showings of the 2016 Edges and every time they would demo the seat folding feature the same issue would show up.

I don't understand the logic of Ford saying that it's designed to function this way but mine does the same thing.

I have a 2016 SEL and the cargo light works. I can't imagine a lens with no light. Maybe the switch that triggers the light isn't functioning. Maybe a fuse.

I have to agree with jlineman. As much as I like everything else about this vehicle the ride is quite harsh. Excessive road noise also seems to be an issue. Not complaining, just stating my feelings. This is my wifes ride. I drive a Chevy Trailblazer short wheel base and the ride is much smoother and more quiet. She loves everything about the Edge so I guess that's all that matters.

I have a 2008 Edge that we bought new and now has 39,000 miles on it. I have long questioned the amount of road noise the car generates. I wondered more after buying a 2010 Ford F-150 which is quiet as a church mouse. I understand the two vehicles are different, as in wheel base and front wheel drive but would like some opinions.

The Edge came with Michelin P-245/60 R18 Latitude Tour HP that get rotated every 6000 miles and are holding up very well. It just seems that there is more road noise than what I would like. I read somewhere that the Latitude regular tire rather than the HP was more quiet? Any opinions or experience with other tires on the Edge would be appreciated.

Is it the tires OR the nature of the car?

I have the same tires on my 09 and have wondered the same thing. Lots of road noise.

The wifes Edge and my Chevy Trailblazer both do the same thing.

It should be printed somewhere in the vehicle but I don't remember exactly where on the Edge.

Remove the trim panel for the fuse box and look way in there and you will see a white sticker with a series of five numbers. Thats your code.

I have an 09 and there is no flap in mine either.

WIth my last car, and some of my friends, a PDF copy of the owner's manual is posted on the car's fan sites.

 

Is there a PDF version of the PDF for the 2011 Ford Edge SEL posted somewhere?

 

 

I ordered one from the factory and I should be getting it in about 2 months. However I'd like to familiarize myself with some stuff before I get it.

 

I thought I found one, but it was just a 5-page intro. I'm looking for the long owner's manual describing the buttons, use, oil-change-instructions, etc. On my last car, said manual was a few hundred pages long.

Would you have the fuse panel trim cover that goes down near the hood release lever? Either charcoal or black. Thanks......
