  1. Thanks for the clarification. That all makes sense. I talked to one dealer who is "the home of the $50 over invoice" and they wouldn't budge on their price, and it was higher than other dealers with similarly equipped Sports. I just didn't get it. I would wait until I got to Cincinnati, but I worry about the $1500 cash back not being available. That's why we are trying to get this squared away before the New Year. We'll see what happens.
  2. Hi Everyone! New member here so I'm really looking forward to being a part of this community! :hyper: Anyway, my wife and I are in the market for a 2011 Ford Edge Sport and we know exactly what we want: Platinum White AWD Navigation Cargo Package (but it sounds like the cover is garbage, so maybe just the cargo mat and bumper protector??) Panoramic Roof That equates to $42,020 for the base price with options. I was blown away by how much Edgieguy got his for with even MORE options, but most dealers I am finding are no where near this price and are not willing to budge. I guess what I am wondering is if there is any room for negotiation whatsoever on a vehicle that is ordered to your specifications. OR, is your best bet trying to work something out with a dealer that has a similar vehicle on the lot. I am currently in Las Vegas and will be relocating to Cincinnati. I'm willing to drive up to 500 miles to get the vehicle I want IF the price is where we want it! A new car is new territory for me. I usually don't touch new cars because of decpreciation values, but for as much driving as my wife is giong to be doing with her new job we want a brand new car. Any insight you guys might have would be great. Thanks a lot! Brendan
