Okay - Throttle Body... just what does that mean in english?

We bought the Edge new and it has been great until recently. Periodically the 'wrench' symbols appears on the dash and the engine runs extremely rought and there is no power. We turn the Edge off, wait a minute, then restart the car and all is well. This has happened several times last week and Monday it is going to our local Ford dealer. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what was the cause and fix.. Thanks

Greetings from Texas. My wife and I just bought a 2011 Edge Limited and we LOVE it. We were looking at the Equinox but the ride, features and price of the Edge made the choice a no brainer. I picked the Edge up Saturday and have driven it just under 400 miles so far and have not experienced any issues. (Knock on wood). I hope all that are experiences issues get them resolved quickly.
