I just dont get it, WHY is the plastic clad wheel not repairable????? I am going to try to make some calls to find out WHY they make an aluminum wheel with a chrome plastic hub cap that is not replaceabe and WHY the one way to replace it cost over $800 any Answers??? maybe somone on this forum works for Ford an answer will be given

I will post a picture as soon as I can , the plastic is damaged, it is holding air just fine I am just really mad, we had an 07 MKX with the chrome wheels and never hade a bit of damage just some pitting, if I had had any idea that these wheels where plastic I might have taken a pass on that option, I need to know what a new wheel will cost, my dealer is high on paint thinner I think he said the price was about $800 plus install and tps WOW that hurts, that was the price for the 4 wheel up grade grade any and all help is much thanked

What can I do to get the wheel repaired or replaced and what is the cost and where can I get it done in the chicago area with a moderate cost repair vs new wheel need help I am in trouble.
