Hi all! Had my 2011 LTD AWD for about two weeks now and love it! I have a few MFT hiccups here in there, but nothing major. Some questions I had that are probably easily explained are why does the album art go away after awhile? I take a long trip to Georgia and the art goes away about 30min to a hour in the ride and will not reappear until I turn the car off and on. Also does anyone has skipping while playing USB music? Thanks

Had my 2011 Edge LTD AWD for little over a week now and I love it! My USB player skips and the sync went out once and just needed a reset nothing major, but would still by another Edge in a heat beat. Have not upgraded to 2.8 yet and probably won't since it works just perfectly they way it is.

Hi everyone! Really excited to get back to the States and pick up my Edge Limited AWD. I want to prepare by getting a 32gb thumb drive to use for music. Does anyone use a thumb drive versus other options and give me some pointers? How does the naming convention work in order for it to work best with my ford touch? Thanks

I'm less then a month away from getting into my Ford edge. I actually bought this vehicle sight unseen from overseas. I spoke to the dealer and it's ready to go. I had a X-plan price drawn up by the dealer and he says that a Limited AWD with drivers entry and navigation comes out to be $36,730 + plus all available rebates. Does that seem correct? I already put a deposit down on this custom order and pretty much stuck with this dealer that knows my sister, so I want to make sure it all checks out....

I submitted a order to my Ford dealer for a Limited AWD in middle of January. As of now the only thing the dealer says is that the order is "in." They keep telling me that it will be ready on May 1st when I get back, but I have no confidence in that. Do you think two more months would be enough to get this puppy built and shipped? I would prefer not to have to rent a car for a long period of time. Thanks

I put a order in last Friday hoping the dealer will have it in the system by this coming Monday. The dealer promised me it will be ready by May 1st. I'm crossing my fingers

Thanks for the information everyone I feel more comfortable about putting a deposit on ordering a limited and leasing it when I get back to the states. I was using the calculator and coming up with figures just like you all mentioned, but the dealers were tacking on $50 out of somewhere. I don't have a trade-in but will be able to put between$7k-8k down. Can't wait to get back to the states and drive it!

Can I get some examples of lease payments? My dealer said for a Limited AWD priced at 36,400 with 8k down a lease payment would be $450 kinda seems extremely high to me.

I'm not a member of USAA, but I have access to AAFES' exchange new car sales giving a deal seems great, but just not so sure about it for some reason. I'm getting the Limited AWD with nav and drivers package for 35k then just pay taxes and tags when I return home. It's ordered to my specs and delivered to the nearest dealer in the states for when I return. Seems good.

Great information. I was offered the Ford Edge Limited AWD for a "on the road price" of $36,999. Of course I can't take delivery until May since I'm deployed, but would put a deposit on a ordered vehicle in February-March time frame. Does a on the road price include taxes, tags, and freight? Dealer said yes, but I always like to hear it from someone else as well. Thanks

Here is the problem if I receive the PIN lets say tomorrow can I just hold on to it till delivery in May or do I have to contact the person who would be giving it to me in May? Which actually could be rather hard since its through a friend's friend of the family.

Does an X-plan pin expire? I'm 4 months out from purchasing a edge, but when they put the order in do they need the pin then or at the time of sale? I'm overseas and can get the pin now, but not sure 4 months down the road.

Hi everyone I'm about to purchase a Ford Edge and need some last minute advice. What is really the difference between the SEL and Limited except for the driver entry package? Seems like you can pretty much have everything else except the Sony radio. I'm still up in the air over the SEL AWD or Limited AWD and it comes down to that driver entry package. If you get the roof rack side rails can you later down the road add on the bars, bike attachment, and so forth? Anyone like the Brown color? I unfortunately I'm overseas and can't truly see it, but really think it will look good. Thanks can't wait to come back and drive it!

I got that, but wanted to see if anyone actually can confirm if it really will be the case to eventually take the car back to get the Nav added afterward. I searched the internet and have not heard anything about it.
