Does anybody know of any changes being made for the 2009 Edge or MKX? Usually there is a 2 year model change. I know the 2009 MKS is loaded with great stuff but will crossovers receive these as well?

Well Lincoln is really coming out with a real luxury car with the 2009 MKS. It has the best leather and a 3.7 liter engine among many other upgrades. Its too bad the 2008 MKX does not have these luxuries. Does anyone think a 2009 MKX will be like the MKS. Usually every 2 years there is cosmetic changes to a model (therefore a 2009 MKX fits the bill) I hate spending big bucks on a vehicle if a "better" version is on the horizon. My choice is to wait for 2009 or bite the bullit and get a 2008 MKX or 2008 Edge Limited. I am not saying I am not going to get a 2009 because 2010 will be better etc. etc. its just trying to choose between 2008 and 2009 at this point.

Thanks for your replys. I am interested in the 2008 EDGE Limited and the Lincoln MKX. I guess I will have to wait awhile longer as I believe the 2008 MKX will not be available until Spring 2008 to compare with the 2008 EDGE that will be out this fall. Will keep researching throughout the coming months both models.

Is there any difference with the Sound system and the Leather between the Edge and MKX? I know the headlights are better in the MKX and so is the warranty. What else stands out? I like the MKX but the Grill looks better on the EDGE>

Any comments out there on how Ford measures legroom?

I currrently drive a 2006 Taurus. Helped convince my Dad to get a 2007 Edge SEL+. (Dune Pearl no BAMR) I want a 2008 Edge Limited Vapor Silver with the Premium Leather (Charcoal Black with RED) and 20 inch tires and all the options except Navigation and DVD. Why though does the Edge seem so much more comfortable to drive especially the legroom when it supposedly has less legroom than the Taurus and Fusion? I know the EDGE has the telescope steering column but that in itself does not make it more roomy. Anyway I am on my 4th Taurus (if I am a passenger in the front of my car my legs rub the dash in the EDGE I have several inches to spare.
